This website is one person's attempt to provide material to help youth in their pursuit of peace. But how does one define "peace?" "Peace" is more than the absence of war. "Peace" encompasses a number of qualities, such as love, hope, and compassion. Where does it begin? It begins with YOU and eventually leads to giving to others, and thereby passing this hope of peace to YOUR next generation.

How does one begin?  Start observing others.  People all around you have needs - and believe it or not, these needs may be greater than your own problems.  Taking the time to understand another is a way of reaching out to humanity.   You may not have the opportunity to travel the world to find out, but there is one powerful tool that you CAN use to bridge that gap:  READ!

It is the hope of this author to encourage YOU, the next generation, with stories - fictional, non-fictional, and folktales of those who struggle to find peace, and through struggles have found and maintained peace in their lives.  Included are websites, which will not only encourage and remind you that you are not alone in this journey, but possibly call you to action beyond reading.  You may be surprised to find out that there are many seeking this ideal of peace!
